OWNERS of a dog which disappeared from outside a shop have thanked people for their help in tracking her down.
Liz Hayman has been reunited with her beloved West Highland White terrier, Holly, who went missing on Saturday from outside the Spar shop in Blackwell, Darlington.
After an appeal in The Northern Echo, Mrs Hayman's son, Paul, received a call on Tuesday night from a man who said he had found Holly.
"We are just absolutely delighted to have her back," said Mrs Hayman. "She seems fine, although we're taking her to the vet to make sure."
