A CAR dealership is hosting a ladies' night to help pamper the town's women while they choose a new motor.

Aimed at helping women feel more comfortable in a car showroom, Sherwoods Chevrolet, in Chesnut Street, Darlington, is hosting the New You New Car event, which will also introduce visitors to the latest spa treatments.

Sarah Morrice, a beauty therapist from Beauty Oasis, in Darlington, will be on hand throughout the event to offer a demonstration of the salon's newest treatment, The Defi-Lift 3D Facial. All ladies' night attendees will be offered a 20 per cent discount on the facial at the Northumberland Street salon.

Guests will also have the chance to ask questions they have about buying a car, and canapes and refreshments will be served.

Simon MacConachie, Chevrolet sales manager, said: "We hope that by attending this event, women will learn more about the purchase options available to them and have a chance to be pampered at the same time."

Beauty therapist Ms Morrice said: "I don't know many women that have been to a car dealership without dragging their dad or partner along with them, and I think that this event will certainly help women to feel more confident about choosing a new car."

The event will be held at the dealership on Wednesday, February 22, from 7.30pm.
