ONE of the country's leading musicians will play an outdoor concert in the North.

Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra will play at Castle Howard, near Malton, North Yorkshire, on July 28.

He will play his brand of high-energy boogie woogie, with support from Sam Brown and Ruby Turner.

The gates will open at 6pm and people are encouraged to take along a picnic for the concert, which will start at 8pm. The evening will end with a fireworks show at 10.30pm.

Tickets for adults are £30 in advance and £37.50 on the night, and £15 in advance for children up to the age of 15, and £20 on the night. Under-fives go free and group booking concessions are available. Tickets are available during office hours on (01653) 648623 or at www.castlehoward.co.u
