A SPORTS club for young disabled people is seeking members.
The District of Easington Sportsability Club is open to children aged nine to 13 who have physical disabilities, sensory impairment and learning difficulties.
The club, which meets at Peterlee Leisure Centre from 5.45pm to 7.15pm on Tuesdays, aims to encourage young disabled people to take part in sport and activities.
The venture also increases the involvement of volunteers and coaches in sporting activities for disabled people.
Easington District Council sports development officer Pip Bell said: "We are hoping more young people will come along and join in our activities. It is an excellent opportunity to learn new sports and a great way to meet new friends."
To join the club, call organisers on 0191-527 0501
