A SERIAL conwoman who siphoned off £25,000 from her employers has won a cut in her sentence on appeal.

Louise Winskill, 35, of Langwith House Farm, Heslington, North Yorkshire, paid off credit card bills and gave money to her boyfriends.

The mother-of-two was jailed for four years in total at York Crown Court last September, after she pleaded guilty to 32 counts of obtaining money transfers by deception, one of obtaining a pecuniary advantage by deception and failing to surrender to bail.

But London's Criminal Appeal Court decided the sentence was "manifestly excessive" and reduced the total to three years and three months.
