Intermedia Web Development has won contracts worth more than £30,000 in the past two months.
The Darlington company hopes the contract wins will lead to more jobs at its headquarters, doubling its workforce from 12 to 24.
Among recent client wins are Cleveland Motorhomes, David Penman Cars, a Seat car dealer, and Number 22, a bar in Darlington.
Antony Lewis, head of web development at Intermedia, said: "Most businesses now realise that in order to increase their sales, an efficient website is vital.
"Much of the work that we have recently taken on is to develop new websites and to enhance existing ones."
