The public will be able to visit two North-East libraries to seek advice on learning and work next month. Two information assistants will be on hand at the libraries.
Kate McCubbin, learning development librarian, said: "If you are an adult over 20 years old, living working or learning in Tyne and Wear and have fewer than five GCSEs or an NVQ Level 2 qualification, you will be offered a free advice session.''
The sessions will be held every Wednesday, from next week, between 9.30am and noon at the Sandhill Centre Library and Electronic Village Hall in Grindon Lane, Sunderland; and every Friday, between 2pm and 4.30pm, at Washington Town Centre Library and Electronic Village Hall, in Washington, from January 6
