A COFFEE morning to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Relief takes place next week.
The event, organised by the Lanchester and District Committee of the charity, takes place at The Derwent Manor Hotel, at Allensford, near Consett, from 10am to 1pm next Friday.
Children from Castleside Primary School will provide entertainment to commemorate Trafalgar Day.
There will be craft and Christmas gift stalls and a raffle to raise extra funds, as well as a visit from Santa.
Tickets, which include coffee and biscuits, are 50p.
