Leyburn: 11am, act of remembrance at the war memorial followed by a service at St Matthew's Church, with music by Leyburn Brass Band.

Northallerton: 10.45am, at All Saints' Church.

Richmond: 9.40am, service at St Mary's Church.

The parade will leave from the Market Square at 10.45am to the Victory Square. On the Headland, the parade will leave Church Walk at 10.45am, and proceed to the cenotaph via Prissick Street and Cliff Terrace.

Lazenby: 11am, Sunday, service at St Cuthberts, noon act of remembrance and wreath-laying at war memorial.

Lingdale: 2pm, wreath-laying at war memorial.

Loftus: 9.45am, service at St Leonard's, parade to 11am wreath-laying at war memorial.

Middlesbrough: 11am today, Middlesbrough Mayor Ray Mallon lays first poppy at cenotaph on Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough. 10.35am, Sunday, parade assembles outside Royal British Legion Club, Park Road South, for 11am service at cenotaph.

Moorsholm: 10.50am, act of remembrance at war memorial followed by Holy Communion in St Mary's Church.

New Marske: 2.30pm, parade from shops car park to St Thomas's for 3pm service, followed by wreath-laying at war memorial.

Stockton: 10.25am, parade will assemble in Yarm Lane at moving off for a service at the cenotaph beside the parish church at 10.50am, where the Mayor of Stockton, Coun Mick Stoker, will lay a wreath.

Thornaby: 9.30am, Stockton's Deputy Mayor, Coun Suzanne Fletcher, will join members of the Thornaby branch of the Royal British Legion when they assemble at Thornaby Ex-Servicemen's Club car park, Queen's Avenue, Thornaby. Parade setting off at 9.45am to St Luke's Church. Service at the cenotaph, Acklam Road, at 11am.

Yarm: 9.30am, service at parish church followed by a procession to the war memorial at 10.50am.

North Durham

Annfield Plain: 11am wreath-laying at RAF war memorial on Loud Bank in Greencroft, 1.30pm parade moves off from the Co-op store in Annfield Plain, 2pm service at St Aiden's Church in Annfield Plain followed by wreath-laying.

Blackhill: 11am Mass at St Mary's RC Church followed by wreath-laying.

Burnhope: 11am wreath-laying at the war memorial followed by ecumenical service in Burnhope Methodist Church.

Castleside: 9.30am Parish Eucharist of Remembrance at St John's Parish Church followed by an act of remembrance, 11am wreath-laying at Cenotaph, 3pm Act of Remembrance and wreath-laying at cenotaph.

Chester-le-Street: 11am Friday, two minutes' silence at the Civic Centre. Maroons will be fired at start and finish of silence which will be heard across the district. It will be followed by short service of remembrance in mall of civic centre led by clergy from St Mary and St Cuthbert's Church.

Chester-le-Street: 10.15am, parade of ex-service groups from the bottom car park at the civic centre, on to Newcastle Road, Front Street, High Chare and to St Mary and St Cuthbert's Parish Church, in Church Chare, for remembrance service at 10.45am, including wreath-laying at the DLI Memorial.

Consett: 10.40am parade from Parliament Street to Consett Civic Centre, 11am wreath-laying at the War Memorial, 11.10am ecumenical service in the Civic Hall.

Craghead: 10.45am service at the cenotaph followed by wreath-laying.

Durham: 10.15am,

service at Durham Cathedral, including wreath-laying at the war memorial, followed by parade of veterans and cadet groups, from Palace Green, at about 11.20am with the salute taken by Mayor John Lightley, and senior members of the services, on the dais in the Market Place, at about 11.30am.

Esh: 9.15am, service at the Church of England.

Kelloe: 10.30am, meet at St Paul's Methodist Church ahead of ceremony at war memorial.

Lanchester: 9.30am, ecumenical service at The Green followed by services at the three village churches.

Langley Park: 11am service at All Saints' Church in the village preceeded by parade from village war memorial.

Leadgate: 10.45am wreath-laying and service at the war memorial in Durham Road.

Quebec: 10.45am, service at St John The Baptist church.

Shotley Bridge: 3pm service and wreath-laying at Shotley Bridge war memorial.

Stanley: 9.45am, service at St Andrew's Church followed by wreath-laying.

East Durham

Easington: 9am, service at All Saints' Church, 9.45am wreath-laying at war memorial.

Easington Colliery: 10.30am, parade will assemble at workingmen's club then march to Church of the Ascension for service, then march to cenotaph in village cemetery for laying of wreaths at 11.45am.

Seaham: 10.30am, parade leaves Tempest Road and will march to the cenotaph at Terrace Green for service and wreath-laying at 11am.

Wearside

Houghton: 9.30am, veterans and service groups leave Mautland Square car park for parade along Newbottle Street to St Michael and All Angels Parish Church, in the Broadway, for 10am service, which ends outside with two-minute silence at the war memorial in the church grounds. The parade will then return along Newbottle Street with the salute taken by Lieutenant Colonel Jim Brown, of the 15th Infantry Brigade, and by Houghton and Washington East MP Fraser Kemp, outside the Post Office, at about 11.15am.

Sunderland: 10.30am, 500-strong parade to leave civic centre at for service at the war memorial in Mowbray Park at 11am at which Earl of Wessex will lay the first wreath.

Whitburn: 10.40am, parade will leave Whitburn Parish Church at march to the war memorial for service.

Tyneside

Jarrow: 11am wreath-laying at the town's war memorial, Mayor of South Tyneside Bill Lynch, MP Stephen Hepburn and South Tyneside Council leader Paul Waggott will lay the first wreath.

Newcastle: 10am, wreath-laying at the civic centre memorial, followed by service at Old Eldon Square at 11am, with a two-minute silence.

South Shields: 11am service at war memorial in Westoe.
