THE Darlington branch of the Royal British Legion will be joined by other ex-service organisations, the town's mayor and the public for two minutes' silence tomorrow, at 11am.
The Civic Service of Remembrance will take place at Holy Trinity Church, in Woodland Road, on Sunday, November 13, from 10am.
Afterwards, a parade will form in Vane Terrace and proceed to the war memorial in the hospital grounds.
Anyone wishing to get wreaths, poppies or crosses can visit the Poppy Appeal headquarters, in the Council for Voluntary Services building, in Church Row, or call the Poppy Appeal organiser, Barbara Frankland, on (01325) 355234 or 07786 848654.
