Tickets are still available for a chance to quiz art experts.
David Barrie, director of National Art Collections Fund, Sir Timothy Clifford, director of National Galleries Scotland, Lord Inglewood, chairman of the Reviewing Committee on the Export of Works of Art, and Ian Gow, head curator of National Trust for Scotland will answer questions on whether masterpieces should be saved from foreign export and bought for the nation.
The debate will address the issue in relation to those masterpieces saved and others such as Titian's Portrait of a Young Man, which are still at stake.
The event starts at 11am tomorrow with a visit to Bowes Museum, in Barnard Castle, County Durham, and a buffet lunch before moving to Addison's Auction Rooms where the debate will take place.
