A PLASTIC components maker has seen turnover more than quadruple to £330,000 in the past two years - and plans to expand further with the launch of a website.
Custom Profiles, in Bishop Auckland, hopes that its presence at www.customprofiles. co.uk will help potential clients understand what the company has to offer.
Commercial director Frances Connolly said: "We are a manufacturer, but we don't have an actual product that we sell, which can cause a bit of confusion.
"We basically produce bespoke plastic extrusions to meet the specific requirements of individual customers. So if a company needs a plastic part for something they might be producing - but doesn't require sufficient to order annually from large manufacturers, which supply in bulk - then we can make it for them."
Products made at the factory, on the St Helens Industrial Estate, include plastic trims for kitchen splash-backs and joins for football pitch covers.
