A NEW service allowing east Durham residents to recycle their old furniture or buy refurbished items is now open for business.
East Durham Furniture Re-use (EDF) is a community enterprise and registered charity, which provides a free collection service for good-quality, unwanted furniture.
Items are refurbished and sold back to the public and voluntary and charitable organisations at very low prices.
