MOTORISTS are being warned of road works in Hartlepool this weekend.
On Sunday, repairs will be carried out on a small area of the Northbound section of the A689, at its junction with Church Street.
The work will start at 6am and is expected to be finished by about 10am.
Northbound traffic will be diverted along Clarence Road, then around the roundabout at the Morrisons petrol station, then back along Clarence Road and back onto the A689.
Traffic coming out of the top of Church Street and wanting to turn right to go north will have to do the same. The right turn into Church Street will not be affected.
