POLICE at Newton Aycliffe are appealing for information after a garage was broken into in Heighington Village on Thursday, September 15.
A householder disturbed two burglars in his garage, in Manor Court, shortly after 2.30pm. They stole a black plastic toolbox and an aluminium camera case.
The men ran away along Beech Crescent towards Newton Aycliffe. Both are aged 19 to 20. One was stocky, wearing a light top, the other slim and wearing a dark top.
Anyone who saw the pair is asked to contact police on (0845) 60 60 365 or Crimestoppers anonymously on (0800) 555 111.
