NETBALL players from Ferryhill have been rewarded for a successful season.
Ferryhill Leisure Centre's eight to eleven-year-old girl's netball team has received Rising Star awards from Sedgefield Borough Council after a season of victories.
Carolyn Clayton, from the council, said: "The talented and enthusiastic girls were extremely pleased with their certificates and we all hope their success continues. Well done girls."
Netball coaching is available at the leisure centre for anyone who wishes to take part on Wednesdays, from 4.30pm to 5.30pm, with Susan Sweeting.
