PEOPLE are being urged to get in trim for two running events on Teesside.
Hartlepool Borough Council's sports development team is joining with Hartlepool Burn Road Harriers to organise activities for families.
A family fun run of just over one mile will be held at Summerhill Country Park on Wednesday, August 17. The entry fee is 75p for youngsters and £1.50 for adults. Runners can register up until 6.30pm on the evening of the event.
And the inaugural Hartlepool Ladies 5km Road Race takes place at Seaton Carew on Tuesday, September 13, from 7.15pm. It is open to all women aged 15 and over.
Entry forms for both races are available from the sports development team, or at libraries, sport centres and Summerhill.
