A NURSE has been nominated for a national award for her years of care and commitment to her patients.
Community nurse Ann Oliver, who works at Durham University's Science Park, has been nominated for the Dettol Community Nurse of the Year award.
Colleague Paula Daily put Ms Oliver's name forward for the award after working alongside her for five years.
She said: "Ann goes out of her way to provide high quality nursing care and this is reflected in the letters from patients I have received."
Nominations close on August 12 when a shortlist of 30 candidates will be announced.
