TWO teenagers are being hunted after a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted.

The two males, riding bikes, approached the girl and an 11-year-old friend in Fairfield Road, Stockton, near St Joseph's Primary School.

They followed the girls to a shop in Upsall Grove, where the girls waited hoping the boys would leave. However, after leaving the shop, they were stopped near Bylands Grove, and one boy indecently assaulted the 14-year-old.

The attackers were dark-skinned and slim. The first was between 16 and 17, 5ft 10 and wore a blue cap turned backwards, and a dark, long-sleeved top. He rode a blue bike. The second was between 14 and 15, with short, dark, curly hair and rode a scruffy, bright orange bike.

Anyone with information about the attack, which took place at about 3.20pm on Thursday, is asked to call PC Steve Meredith on (01642) 302226.
