ATHLETICS fans were treated to a day of sport at a new complex in Darlington yesterday.
Eastbourne Sports Complex hosted the Northern Men's League Division One meeting, where there was a full programme of track and field events, including the 3,000m steeplechase and pole vault.
On Sunday, July 23, Darlington Harriers athletics club will be hosting its first official event at Eastbourne, which is its new home ground.
The event is a McDonalds League Northern Boys' meeting.
On Sunday, August 5, the complex will host another men's meeting, beginning at 1pm. Admission is free to all the events
