CHART-BUSTING boy band Five will headline one of the region's biggest free music events later this month.
The band will headline the radio station 96.6 tfm Party in the Park, at the Stockton International Riverside Festival, on July 30.
An afternoon of big name groups and celebrities is promised for the free music festival on stage at the riverside, from noon to 6pm.
A mammoth audience of 40,000 people turned up for last year's Party in the Park. The addition of a giant live video screen on stage, means that the record is under threat for this year.
Five will be joined on stage by Sid Owen, otherwise known as Ricky from EastEnders, A1, Billie Piper, Mikey Graham of Boyzone, Alice Deejay, Daphnie & Celest and many more.
David Tighe, programme director at tfm, said: "Five really is the icing on the cake. It's wonderful to offer such a fantastic music afternoon of non-stop chart acts."
