TWO men are being hunted after a theft from a house in Melsonby, near Richmond.
The elderly couple at the house were engaged in conversation about gardening by one of the men, while the other entered the house and stole cash.
The one outside was aged about 25 or 26, about 5ft 10in tall and of proportionate build. He had short fair hair, wore a white cotton checked shirt and spoke with a local accent.
The incident took place at about 12.30pm last Tuesday and Richmond CID would like anyone with information to call them on (01748) 823055
