Police are investigating the theft of six giant balls from a North-East bowling alley.
They were taken from the XF Superbowl on the North Tyneside Industrial Estate, in Benton. The coloured 4ft balls, which join together to form a rainbow, were pulled from their mountings by someone who must have climbed the canopy above the entrance.
Police believe they may have been taken as part of a prank. Anyone with information has been asked to call Wallsend police on 0191-214 6555, extension 63333
