NOTORIOUS villain Spiderboy is about to become a father.

But the infamous young criminal has been warned he must change his ways if he ever wants to see his child.

The 20-year-old thug, Tommy Laws, lived up to his Houdini reputation by fleeing an "escape-proof" dock at a magistrates court in July.

He has not been seen since and his girlfriend Michelle Suniga, 17, has revealed he is running from his responsibilities as well as the law.

Michelle, of North Shields, North Tyneside, said: "As far as I'm concerned, the relationship is over.

"I met him in March and we saw each other until he was arrested. I was in court in July when he escaped and I was furious with him.

"If he was serious about us having a future, he had to face the music.

"He phoned me on my mobile the day he escaped. I begged him to hand himself in, but he took no notice of what I said.

"For the baby's sake I don't want to be with a father who's constantly getting into trouble and is never there.

"He rang me about three or four times but I have changed my phone number to stop him contacting me. I want nothing more to do with him."

Her mother Yvonne Fuge, 39, also of North Shields, said: "She gets upset because she is connected to him.

"Her house was raided when he first absconded and they even went to my sister's home, in Cheltenham.

"It is hard for her to shoulder the pregnancy alone, but she knows she's got her family to fall back on."

A senior Northumbria Police source said: "The escape of Thomas Laws was a very serious offence, it is important we bring him back into custody."

Laws earned his nickname as a juvenile offender because of his climbing skills.

In July he hauled himself through a six-inch gap at the top of the dock at North Shields magistrates court. He barged past a clerk, fled through the front door and has been in hiding ever since
