CRUTES, one of the North's leading law firms, is strengthening its Middlesbrough office with the appointment of assistant solicitor Fiona McReddie.
From Great Ayton, Fiona is to work closely with the firm's Sunderland-based family law solicitor Colette Stroud on all matters relating to family law such as divorce, custody of children and financial matters.
She joins Crutes from George Cass Rylands and Co, having spent four years working on cases involving low income families. Fiona's appointment comes as Crutes seeks to build a strong family practice at its Middlesbrough office. Crutes also has offices in Newcastle, Carlisle and Sunderland.
Fiona graduated from Newcastle University in 1982 with a degree in politics and economics. Her desire to pursue a career in law came during her time working at Redcar and Cleveland Citizens Advice Bureau.
Alison Shepherd, who heads up the Teesside office, said: "We are delighted to have Fiona join us as part of our on-going expansion strategy. She will prove to be a vital member of our team.
