ACCORDING to experienced judge Eleanor Bothwell, the Darlington Championship Dog Show is one of the best there is.
Mrs Bothwell, from Scotland, has been judging at the show for nearly 20 years.
This year, she was busy over all three days, judging various groups and classes.
She said: "It is a pleasure to do and dogs are a passion of my life.
"The standard at the Darlington Dog Show is very high, and it is no doubt the show in the North.
"The primary thing about it is the welcome you always get here. The people here are real enthusiasts at doing what they do.
