Darlington goal hero Paul Campbell has set his sights on Bradford City after gunning down Barnet.

The 20-year-old midfielder grabbed his second goal of the season as the Quakers beat Barnet 1-0 on Saturday to end a two-game losing streak.

But now Campbell is hoping to repeat his goal heroics in the mouth-watering Worthington Cup clash against Premiership club Bradford tomorrow night.

The Middlesbrough-born player scored his first of the season to help knock First Division Nottingham Forest out of the cup in the first round and would love to do the same tomorrow.

"It would be nice," he admitted. "It is a big game and everyone is looking forward to it.

"Knocking Forest out in the last round was great and it would be fantastic if we could beat Bradford.

"To be honest, all the pressure is on Bradford because they are the favourites. We can just go out there and enjoy the game and hopefully get a result.

"It was nice to score against Forest and it would be nice to score again - but it doesn't matter who scores as long as the team wins.

"That's more important and that was the case on Saturday against Barnet."

Campbell admitted he was delighted to get the winner against Barnet. Ironically his first goal was against the Londoners two years ago on his debut.

"I think I scored at the same end as well," he said. "It's always nice to score and I think I could have had another goal on Saturday.

"It was important we got the win, especially after the two defeats.

"We played well as a team and ground out the result and now we can look forward to the cup game. I just hope I am still in the side. I know I have got to keep working and playing well to stay in.

"A lot of it is down to confidence and I am growing more and more confident.

"I feel I am getting better with every game and I am learning all the time.

"There are some very experienced players around me and they are encouraging me all the time. That helps and hopefully I can continue to be in the side and help Darlington do well."

Barnet boss John Still admitted a poor start cost his side as he said: "We played well and took away nothing.

"Darlington started well, but our goalkeeper had a rush of blood. These things happen in games. But we've got to look at the bigger picture. For the second half we have done everything right and done everything but score. We'll play worse than that and win."

l Darlington fans have been offered a huge incentive as part of the club's proposed new stadium development.

Chairman George Reynolds announced tickets will be priced £12 for the main stand, £10 for the opposite stand and £5 for both ends of the goal.

Those fans who hold season tickets by Christmas this year, will be offered discount tickets with £6 for the main stand, £5 for the opposite end and £3 for behind the goals
