BREATHTAKING beach dancing will bring the South Tyneside coast to life as part of the National Year of the Artist celebrations next weekend.
Staged under the landmark Marsden Rock, the project will see eight performers take part in a dance, light and musical extravaganza.
Entitled Eight Go Mad at Marsden, the project has been sponsored by Northern Arts and the town's Customs House in collaboration with Durham-based Tincanect Productions.
Performances will take place at Marsden on Saturday, September 23, at 3pm and 7pm, and the Customs House will host a show on Friday, October 6, at 7pm. Each show is free.
