Graham Taylor has told his table-topping Watford to forget about Fulham as they seek to extend their Division One lead at one of his former clubs today.

Taylor admits he knew little about Fulham's midweek home defeat to Preston - and claims it might even have been better if Jean Tigana's men had won.

Now he says Watford must put the chasing pack out of their mind as they travel to face Wolves.

''You could argue it might have been better if Fulham had beaten Preston, as it would have shaken off another of the teams underneath us,'' Taylor said.

''We have to concentrate on our own performances and let the others look after themselves.''

Watford could add new signing Stephen Armstrong to their squad while Alec Chamberlain is set to continue in goal as Espen Baardsen is short of match fitness.

Wolves hope to recall Neil Emblen after food poisoning while Ludovic Pollet is back from suspension, but George Ndah is still sidelined.
