EMPLOYEES across the region are being encouraged to pass on some festive goodwill - by not sending Christmas cards to work colleagues.
Instead, they are being asked to send the money they would have spent on the cards to Childline Yorkshire and North-East as part of an alternative card appeal.
In return, they will receive a ChildLine Christmas card for everyone to sign.
More than 4,000 children were helped by the 24-hour line over Christmas.
