POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a hit-and-run accident left a woman in hospital.
The woman was in a Rover 213 which was in collision with a black-coloured car at the Yarm Road roundabout, in Darlington, at about 9.15am yesterday.
She suffered minor injuries and was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital.
The black car, believed to be a Ford Mondeo or Vauxhall Cavalier, sped away.
Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to call (01325) 467681.
