YOUNG people are to perform a play to teach other residents in their community about home security.
Young people are to stage the show, called Bogus Callers, at a community safety awareness event at Grey Gardens Community Centre, Coundon, at 6pm today.
The event has been organised by Coundon and Leeholme Community Project, which will be giving out safety advice on tackling house fires and home security.
Crime prevention packs and a property marker pen will be distributed, and some people could qualify for a free timer switch and upgraded security for their properties.
The event will be followed by a short meeting to look at the work of the project, the recent community appraisal and Government funding to regenerate the area.
