A SECOND witness in the trial of former Southampton soccer boss David Jones broke down in the box yesterday as he told of his confusion and shame at being abused as a youth.
Liverpool Crown Court heard Boy B, serving a seven-year prison term for two robberies, claim he was twice fondled by the former Everton defender, who then performed a sex act on him.
Questioned by David Aubrey, prosecuting, Boy B, recalled being assaulted in the bedroom of the residential school where he lived.
Afterwards, he said, he "felt confused, disgusted, ashamed. I just couldn't believe it. I was shocked".
Jones, 44, of Chilworth, near Southampton, denies ten charges of indecent assault, three of assault causing actual bodily harm and one serious sexual offence.
It is the Crown's case that the former football boss, who also managed Stockport County, committed the offences against four boys between January 1986 and May 1990 while he worked as a carer at a residential school on Merseyside
