A Farmers' market and craft fair is being held in Stanhope, Weardale, next Friday, December 15, as part of a Christmas community event.
From 5.30pm to 8pm, visitors will be entertained with carol singing by local school pupils and choral singing at St Thomas' Church.
There will also be late-night shopping, plus craft stalls outdoors and in the Dales Centre, Father Christmas's grotto in the church hall, face painting and an outdoor nativity scene featuring Rent-a-Peasant and their animals.
