ELEVEN Teesside doctors have joined the national Personal Medical Services pilot scheme, which aims to improve services.
The practices which have joined the scheme will look at new ways of managing patients with drug problems, revise opening times, and open teenage clinics.
They will also look at improving the way they deal with coronary heart disease, diabetes and mental health.
Practices which have joined the scheme are Dr Homles and Partners, in Hartlepool, Dr Ray, in Hartlepool, Dr Levie and Partners, in Middlesbrough, Dr Ingledew and Partners, Redcar and Cleveland, Dr Herbert and Partners, Middlesbrough, Dr Omer and Thacker, Hartlepool, Dr Lamballe and Partners, Middlesbrough, Dr Singh, Hartlepool, Dr Patel, Hartlepool, the Fulcrum Medical Practice, Middlesbrough, and Dr Doherty, Redcar and Cleveland.
