A boy has been mugged for his silver scooter.
The ten-year-old was approached by three youngsters, aged about 12 or 13-years-old, and threatened if he did not hand over the toy.
The incident happened between Sinderby and Colsterdale Close at High Grange, Billingham, on Friday. The three young robbers made off towards Colsterdale Close.
The ring leader is described as being about 13-years-old, about 5ft 4in, with short black hair. He wore a black top and trousers.
He was accompanied by two 12-year-olds, one of whom has short black, curly hair, parted in the middle, and wore a blue top. The other had a dark baseball cap, a cream top and white trousers.
