AN orchestra is to play in the region to raise money for charity next month.
Chetham's Symphony Orchestra will play in Durham Cathedral in aid of the Children's Society on Wednesday, February 14.
Chetham's School of Music, in Manchester, has an international reputation as a centre of excellence.
Tickets cost £8, and £5 for concessions. They can be booked in advance through Duncan Robertson on (01325) 722116 or Dr Derek Corner on 0191-386 5741.
They are also available at the Tourist Information Office, in Durham Market Place.
Some tickets will be on sale at the door of the cathedral on the night.
