Car crash: Two people suffered shock and slight injuries in a collision involving two Vauxhall Corsas at Claphow Road, between Skelton and Lingdale, on Monday night.
Annual lunch: More than 130 retired members of Unison, partners and friends enjoyed their annual New Year's lunch at the Park Hotel Redcar.
Money raised: Christmas raffles and tombolas organised by Redcar Rotary Club raised £3,000 for Macmillan nurses and local charities.
