YOUNGSTERS in Darlington took part in a workshop with a dance company, yesterday.
The Green Candle Dance Company worked with the children before putting on a performance of Alanna and the Tree, at Darlington Arts Centre.
The show, aimed at seven to 12-year-olds, features singing and dancing, and as well as being humorous, features serious issues affecting the world.
The company's artistic director, Fergus Early, said: "Children had great fun taking part.
