Plans to create an adventure play and party centre at Unit 6E of the Number One Industrial Estate, Consett, are likely to be approved.
Planning officers have recommended that Derwentside district councillors grant permission for an indoor adventure playground, two party rooms and caf.
The premises will be open from 9am to 8pm daily, with six staff required
