A MAN has been jailed after he held a gun to his former partner's head in front of her child.
Robert Duggan, threatened Beryl Scott with the firing pistol last October after being convicted of harassing her.
Newcastle Crown Court heard how his partner did not make a complaint to police but Duggan was arrested after the child told a teacher what had happened.
Duggan, 41, of Carley Road, Southwick, Sunderland, was jailed for four and a half years after he admitted possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear and breach of a probation order.
