YEAR five pupils from a Darlington have proved that fast food can be healthy.
The children, from Mowden Junior School, teamed up with the Pizza Express restaurant in Skinnergate, to design healthy pizza toppings. The children researched and designed the toppings, as part of their design, technology, science, health education and citizenship project. Pizza Express provided the assistance and ingredients and will be choosing their favourite topping to sell to customers.
Anyone who orders the pizza topping will raise money for the British Heart Foundation
