DJ Marc Henry will be hitting the airwaves in his new position on Metro Radio's lunchtime show.
Marc has taken on the 10am to 2pm weekday slot on one of the region's most popular radio station after moving to Gateshead from Reading, where he worked on 2-Ten FM.
Marc said: "I'm really looking forward to working with the team at Metro Radio and, in particular, working in the North-East.
"The area is renowned as the party capital of the UK and I can't wait to get on air."
