A NEW home has been proposed for the region's only 50m swimming pool.
A Newcastle City Council report to the cabinet will seek approval today for the development of a 50m regional pool on a new site at the east end of the city's Northumberland Road.
The site, owned by Northumbria University, is partly occupied by the university sports centre.
