POLICE have launched an appeal for witnesses following the death of a mother-of-three.
Jacqueline Heaton, 32, was found dead at her home in South Shields, Tyneside, on Wednesday evening.
Police were alerted by a phone call from a distressed man.
A man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Mrs Heaton worked part-time at a bingo club in South Shields.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw Mrs Heaton on Wednesday.
