THE underwear firm which helped launch TV beauty Kelly Brook's modelling career has provided some extra support for Newcastle United.

For two weeks only, Magpies devotees a little disappointed with the team's recent league form can have an uplifting experience when they go near St James' Park - in the shape of a bra model with a difference.

A 30ft tall cut-out style poster has been installed at Strawberry Place, outside United's ground, reaching high above the normal billboards and featuring a computer-generated image of Kelly in her undies.

The advert has been produced by North Tyneside firm Norscreen, commissioned by JC Decaux on behalf of underwear manufacturer Triumph.

The move comes only months after Slovakian supermodel Adriana Sklenarikova had her bosom plastered across a 40ft billboard at Middlesbrough FC's Riverside ground in a Wonderbra advert.

Brook, a former Big Breakfast presenter, found fame modeling underwear for Triumph, before moving to television adverts and programmes.

An Idanit Novo high speed digital press was used at Norscreen's Team Valley plant to produce the poster, which features the slogan "Get noticed, get curves".

Norscreen's national sales and marketing manager Chris Hill said: "The poster is a one-off two-week campaign for Triumph to gauge the response to the unusual size and design of the poster."
