The standard scratch for the day was 72.

Ian Smith, Stephen Scott and James Paterson all qualify for the medal final in September, while Smith, Bill Barclay, Stephen Scott and Robert Payne all qualify for the Chrysler Golf Challenge Regional Finals on September 26.

Blessed by a perfect evening, players enjoyed their Tuesday night Stableford Competition. Scores are now climbing which must have something to do with the weather. This was reflected by the performance of Lee Morpeth who qualified for the 'two club' by achieving a two on the 407 yard, fourth hole.

Seniors Scramble

Played in three balls, the seniors emulated their more agile compatriots last Friday.

Rabbits Open Day Stableford

Sponsored once again by Batchelors of Ripon, the competition was well supported on the day with prizes being awarded for pairs up to tenth position. Batchelors guest prize was won by Janice and Peter Fisher. The 'two club' proved very profitable with only four pairs qualifying, each netted 21 balls. Rabbit Captain, Peter Kirby, who, with his partner, collected the top prize on the day.
