HUNDREDS of children are expected to attend the 13th annual teddy bears' picnic in the grounds of Peterlee's Shotton Hall.
The event, which attracts youngsters from all over east Durham, is being hosted by Peterlee Town Council.
The picnic will be held from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday, June 17, when the guests will be provided with entertainment.
Among the highlights will be an appearance by Baloo from the Jungle Book, a performance by a flea circus, a Punch and Judy show, free face painting, fairground rides and a free picnic for the under-nines.
There will also be a bouncy castle, competitions, a charity raffle and much more.
There will be a best-dressed teddy competition, with the owner of the smartest bear winning four tickets to Wet'n' Wild, in South Shields
