A MOTORIST who abducted two girls and drove them to his home 35 miles away, where he took indecent photographs of them, was jailed for three years yesterday.
A jury at Teesside Crown Court took 20 minutes to find 55-year-old Peter Ainsley guilty of abducting the 11-year-old Middlesbrough girls on May 30 last year.
He pleaded guilty to taking indecent photographs of them at his bungalow in Elm Way, Chester-le-Street, County Durham.
Sarah Mallett, defending, told the court Ainsley suffered a stroke after his arrest and that his home was vandalised after the case was publicised, forcing him to move out.
Ainsley was jailed for 18 months for both the two abduction charges and the indecent photographs, and was put on the Sex Offenders' Register.
