A MAN appeared in court yesterday following a police seizure of drugs worth £50,000.
Thomas Jefferson Davidson, 36, from Copy Lane, Bishop Auckland appeared before Sedgefield Magistrates yesterday afternoon facing five charges of possessing drugs with intent to supply.
Police found the drugs in a house in Bishop Auckland on Monday.
Davidson was remanded on conditional bail until June 13.
A woman arrested at the same time has been released on police bail pending inquiries
